Job Description:

Aftermath is a growing business which is starting to outpace our current IT infrastructure. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Systems Administrator that can review, recommend, and manage our IT needs as we move into the next phase of our growth plan. The role will require an Administrator that has experience interacting with the users of the system. The role will report to the Controller and function as the IT System Administrator and the Help Desk person for both the Corporate and Field locations.

Job Expectations:

  • Based on business requirements, review, recommend, purchase, install, and manage IT solutions to support the business functions.
  • Administer Help Desk: Responds to daily Help Desk requests and maintains a general working knowledge of all IS related systems including: the operating system, hardware and applications.​
  • Desktop Management: Installs and schedules all new PC and software deployments, administers patch management, and maintains hardware inventory.​
  • Email Administration: Manage email archival and email retention.
  • Disaster Recovery: Supports LAN backup and restoration and file undelete recovery administration. Manage and plan disaster recovery for IT infrastructure.
  • LAN Administration: Sets up and maintains user accounts, removes and archives old accounts.​ Set up, configure and install new server deployments, network and switches.​ Monitor, analyze and evaluate performance of production network.
  • Firewall/Remote Access Administration: Sets up and maintains users with remote access. Configures and manages security through firewall device.
  • Experience preferred with Cisco Firewalls, HP switches, Fonality, Windows Server 2008 R2, and VMWare vSphere servers.


Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree from a four-year college preferred.​
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a track record of help desk support.​
  • Understanding of hardware (PC's, laptops, PDA's, scanners, etc), and other general office equipment, and software such as Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint, Act!, CRM, and Quickbooks, MS Windows XP, and general IS utilities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server environment (Active Directory, Group Policy, Security Permissions, etc)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. Great phone skills with a customer service focus
  • IS related certification is considered a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask & prioritize tickets/requests as needed
  • Availability for after business hour support as needed
