Aftermath has an immediate need for a highly motivated Business Development Associate in Aurora, IL. Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Associate who is hardworking, compassionate and motivated by winning deals! The Business Development Associate is responsible for researching new markets, presenting business and/or product offerings to prospects, and closing new Business to Business (B2B) deals. The B2B solutions being sold are in our fast-growing Viral/Bacterial Remediation business line. The target companies range from Fortune 50 to privately owned businesses of all sizes.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Team with B2B leadership on selling strategies
  • Contact potential clients through phone calls and emails to develop a strong customer pipeline
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market both on a one-time and recurring basis
  • Set up video meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Achieving daily activity requirements through outbound merchant contact and accurately track merchant interactions and information in the designated tracking system.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ Years of new business development including 3+ years of prospecting experience
  • Strong track record of success in closing new customer prospects
  • Excellent presentation, and verbal / written communication skills
  • Superior knowledge of internet search technologies and approaches to source prospects and identify decision-maker
  • Strong Hunter-Business Development Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly shifting business landscape
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and the ability to navigate through different systems
  • College degree required: B.A. or B.S.
