As a Crime Scene Cleanup Supervisor, you must be able to lead, motivate, and problem solve with your team in highly sensitive and emotional situations, frequently interacting with families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We are seeking a supervisor who is empathetic, has excellent communication skills, strong problem solving skills, effective conflict resolution skills, and is a motivated self-starter. While prior experience in the biohazard industry is a benefit, it is not required. Aftermath provides comprehensive training and certification on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup process and procedure, and customer service. We are committed to training our Supervisors for success.


The Crime Scene Cleanup Supervisor provides leadership and direction to the field crime scene cleanup team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The responsibilities of the Supervisor are twofold:

-        Customer service: the Supervisor will work hand-in-hand with the team to clean up after situations like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, or accidents.  He/she will lead all on-site customer interactions, estimate the project scope, get agreement from the customer to proceed, then project manage the cleanup, and document and process required paperwork.

-        Team Management: the Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating logistics and travel for the team, on-going training of process and procedure and safety and compliance, inventory management, and oversee maintenance of the location and truck.

Experience and Skills:

Additional Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong competency in project management, organization, attention to detail, and people and time management
  • Must be available (on call) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Background in construction or demolition, or experience using hand or power tools, is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
